What's not to love when there's Bacon??

Spent my lovely afternoon with my lovely girl, Shirlene in Subang yesterday. As we didn't meet for almost a year, we talked about everything to sync our stories together - career, fitness, future plans and food. Guess what? She is absolutely a Food Guru, or I should call her a "Food Hunter". Efficiency is the word to describe her as the recommended food links were sent to my phone while she is sharing her food hunting experiences and reviews. I can see her eyes were on fire!

And then, she brought me to one of her recommendation which is located right near to us - Burgertory.

Burgertory is located in SS15 Subang Jaya near Taylor's college. It's on the 1st floor, above Guardian. Parking can be quite a problem but luckily we got ours within a minute. It's like a factory with exposed pipes, light bulb lightings, long communal tables and wooden benches along a narrow diner space. Nevertheless, it feels comfortable and soothing as well as welcoming.

Best burger in town so far, for me.
=)

Appreciate the art work at this place but also embrace for the ‘wow factor’ after the entire D.I.Y concept, especially this DIY board as it shares a little background with us on how they created Burgertory.

Thumbs up for free flow soft drinks!

One of the burger joint which serves pork burgers. There were quite a number of selections to choose from and the burger actually taste pretty decent. It is good that they offer a selection between fries or salad. Plus the apple salad that they offer is very refreshing. The burgers contain something that tasted like pork jerky - crispy and yummy!

The bread is soft and fluffy and the toppings are always generously filled.

Porky Nest
Try this if you want something light.

No doubt they have one of the best pork burger in town. The burger itself was rather interesting, instead of caramelised onions, they used crispy fried onions, giving it an interesting texture and taste. The cheese was rather subtle and not strong as one would expect, yet this I find to be more complimenting to the pork patty as its flavours aren't as bold as beef. The patty itself boast a juicy texture while the meat is moderately firm. Overall the burger was to my liking.

Do note that this place is always full. Try to avoid after 6pm and you can enjoy it without long wait.
