The Shorea, Seremban : Back to Nature. Forest Getaway in Malaysia

Spectacular view of the rainforest, fresh air, and tranquil atmosphere, what's not to love?

I recently visited to this villa for team building and it was an awesome experience!
There are 3 different resorts with such concept within the same area: The Shorea, The Dusun and Awanmulan. The journey to this secluded resort took about 30 minutes from the Seremban city, and about 1.5 hours from KL.

We got ourselves the Villa Shorea & Villa Halia with ample space to fit 9 adults and 1 kid, equipped with private kitchenette, bathroom and balcony of forest view. Good amenities, kitchen utensils and bath towels are provided. It cost us RM2120 for maximum 10 pax to enjoy the villas, additional charges at RM200 for every extra pax added.

Being right next to the Berembun Forest Reserve, this is as close to nature as we can get. For those who are interested, you can also arrange to go for jungle trekking (comes with a fee) or visit the nearby waterfall.

The landscape, the villas and the infinity pool are so beautiful.

* Some photos are from the net *

The weather was good but a bit humid, we just can't wait to have a quick dip into the pool.

The beds are comfortable, but bare in mind that there'll be a lot of insects during night time.
We brought insect repellent and it works perfectly on me yay.

Swan Float is a MUST for this infinity pool!
We brought our own swans haha.

Taking a dip in the plunge pool was the best. The chilly salt water was easy and gentle to eyes and skin, unlike the chlorinated pools.

I immersed in the chilly river water that felt exceptionally light and gentle, which a chlorinated water pool could never offer.

The swimming pool, with its infinity view, made us felt as if nothing stood between us and the nature.

Thanks to the friendly staffs for our group photos.

Guests are welcomed to do their own cooking in the villa's kitchenette, but if you want to cook something more fancy, you can always head down to the common kitchen area which has items like the oven, fryer, a range of herbs and spices etc. Meals can also be catered upon room reservation. We chose to bring our own ingredients for a BBQ dinner :)

Thanks for the helpers who helped us on the BBQ session which is really kind and friendly. We've prepared our own ingredients and marinated chicken wings by Windy, they were so delicious!!!

Energy recharged on the next morning.
I slept so well and all set for the jungle trekking.

It took us about 1.5 hours to trek to the waterfall area.
It was tiring but fun with all the greens around us, breathing in the fresh air with laughters.

I hope this is a truffle LOL.

Follow me and get lost in the right direction.

Water is so cooling.

Spot the smallest hand! haha.

We had Nasi Lemak as breakfast which included in the room rate and it was prepared by the helper.
It was delicious. =)

Overall, this is a perfect place to spend a night or two, to relax the mind & body and be alone with the nature. The room and amenities were great, the staffs were friendly and helpful.
