My Lipstick Collection

Something I have learned to love over the last year is lipstick. I have a friend, Samantha, that rocks lipstick like no other, and I would always look at her with admiring eyes wishing I could pull of the things she did. I know nothing about make up, but Lipstick, I love it! And I will continue growing my collection because it is like a sickness. My first lippie was Chanel Rouge Coco Shine 91 Boheme during my Christmas Shopping last year, followed by 3CE, Inglot and YSL.

You can tell that I'm into YSL lipstick recently. To be honest, I think the packaging plays a huge role in why I’m obsessed. Yes the formula is lovely and creamy, the pigmentation and colour range is amazing, but there are so many amazing products out there on the high street. What makes these special, as is the case with many high-end lipsticks, is the luxurious feel of the product. The packaging is simply beautiful.

I’ve never watched a single Korean TV drama for two years but apparently the YSL Rouge Pur Couture in #52 Rosy Coral was worn by the actress Jun Ji-hyun, who plays Cheon Song Yi in My Love From The Star / You who came from the Stars. ( 來自星星的你 ). You won’t be able to find this lipstick in Singapore. It’s not because they don’t sell it, it’s because it’s always sold out. So how did I get my hands on it? Special Thanks to Samantha who brought this back to me from Paris as a gift! Feeling blessed.
