So happened to bump into Shi Li Fang Hotpot last week with my bestie, Joanna for a casual catch up after I joined a new company. Attracted by their personal pot as well as all day promotion at 50% off for all meats and seafood orders. I'm happy to give it a try as their price is reasonable.
Shi Li Fang is a popular F&B brand in China with over 20 outlets in Beijing. New to the market, this will be their first Singapore outlet and is scheduled to open its doors on Aug 26. With 6 different yummy soup bases and over 40 hotpot ingredient choices, you will be spoilt for choice. It does not use MSG, serves no deep-fried, pan-fried or stir-fried dishes. This is one restaurant that commits to delivering all natural, healthy, sustainable food that truly lives up to its reputation.
Really spoilt for choice with as many as 6 soup bases, and there's option for double, triple and quadruple-flavoured pots. Prices of soup bases are from $3.60++ (per pax) to $11.80++ (per pot). The usual mala (麻辣) soup is available. Psst....it's not very spicy by default, so you could opt to notch-up the heat by requesting it to be spicier. My choice was Tasty Picked Vegetables soup and Joanna's was their Specialty Mala Soup.
We ordered its handmade noodles. What we got was two flattened strips of dough. 'Handmade' means diners will have to 'make' the noodles, themselves. Obviously we asked for help on this haha.
We ordered a normal set + a la carte sirloin beef for sharing.
Total bill at around $30. =)
Prices of drinks is less than a dollar per cup, and canned drinks starts from $1.50++.
Joanna and I.
